A graveside service at the Memory Gardens Cemetery in Corcord was held on Wednesday, Feb. 24, with the Rev. Larry Andrews officiating.
Mr. Schott was born on Jan. 17, 1930 in Sterling to Alex and Mollie (Maul) Schott.
From 1954 until 1958 he served in the U.S. Navy.
He lived and worked in Concord for 30 years as a retail clerk. He enjoyed fishing, bowling and gardening.
He is survived by two daughters, Trina Schott and Lisa Lechuga; three sons, Craig Schott, Keith Schott, and Ronald Schott; three sisters, Helen Weitzel, Emma Smith, and Millie Boxler of Colorado; a brother, Richard Schott of Nevada; seven grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by eight brothers and three sisters.
