He was born September 20, 1917 at Liberal, Kansas the son of Henry and Nellie (Kersey) Bigelow. He was married to Leona Walker September 20, 1954 Rockford, IL.
He was a painter most of his life. Forrest loved to hunt, he used a bow and arrow. Had a wonderful sense of humor and was always laughing. Leona and Forrest use to run the county farm in Centerville, they were good to the people there.
Graveside services were held Saturday afternoon, June 8, 2006 at 2 PM at the Concord Cemetery, Mystic, Iowa with pastor Lloyd Johnston.
