She is survived by her husband, Roy Wallace "Wally" Adams; her wonderful children who always gave her such happiness, Michael Adams (Kristie) and Rachel Apthorpe (Andrew); her two grandsons, Nick Adams and Rex Apthorpe, who filled her days with love and laughter; her parents, John and Selma Brown; her sisters, Cathy Cook (Jim), Shelbyville, KY, and Jennifer D. Brown (Meagan); Lexington, KY; her brother, J. Michael Brown (Jane), Louisville; and nephews, Alex Brown, Michael Brown, Taylor Brown, Greg Cook and Matthew Cook.
Funeral service is 2 p.m. Saturday at Pearson's, 149 Breckenridge Lane, with burial to follow in Cave Hill cemetery. Visitation is 6-9 p.m. Friday and noon-2 p.m. Saturday. Memorials to American Cancer Society or WHAS Crusade for Children.
