Death: Feb. 28, 1907

Corintha married her cousin James M. Bacon. They shared common grandparents. Her father Sterling, is mentioned as being an early settler in Hannibal New York.

James & Corintha's Moore ancestors were originally from England and emigrated into Connecticut, a church record of her fathers family was found in Gransville Massachusettes. (source; Andrew of Poquonck and Windsor Conn. by Horance L. Moore)

James and Corintha were born in Hannibal New York and married in Southport Wisconsin, after their marriage they joined the Wisconsin Phalanx. They were the first settlers in Ceresco later known as Ripon Wisconsin.. James made money on his investment (share) after the Phalanx dissolved in 1850. They later owned a 115 acre farm in Ripon.

James was the first person to build a portable saw mill in Ripon. There is no doubt that he learned this trade from his relative Deacon Cephas Weed who operated one of the first saw mills in Kenosha and is known for building the Weed-Runals house a historical site in Somers, Kenosha, Wisconsin.

Children of James & Corintha... Ellen, Eveline, Emmerette, Frances Eugene, Frederick & May Bacon
