Funeral services for Pfc. Carl T. Gray will be conducted Saturday at l1:00 p. m. at the home of his brother, Grayson A. Gray, on Thaxton road. Burial will be in the Ray cemetery in the Little railroad section. Dr. Ryland Knight, pastor of the First Baptist church, will conduct the funeral. Pfc. Gray is survived by his mother. Mrs. Emma B. Gray, a sister, Mrs. Ivan Hall, and a brother, Grayson A. Gray, all of Pulaski. His father died several years ago. Active pallbearers will be Richard Sullivan, William Sullivan, Bernard King, Garland King, Marion King, and Robert I Fanner. Honorary pallbearers, Woodrow Simmons, Oscar Simmons, Henry Mitchell, Donald Hall, Glen Hall, and Ebb Hall. Flowers girls, Ellen Hurley, Lois Hurley, Margie Edmonds, Thelma Hall, Evelyn Childress, Margaret Mitchell and Ivy King. Pfc. Gray was killed when struck by east-bound N. and W. train No. 42 about 10:40 p. m. Wednesday night near Valley street.
