Eula passed away Friday morning in a Houston hospital after a brief illness.
She had resided in Angelina County most of her life. She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Wells.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. J.C. Slaughter; two sons, J.L. Smith and Durwood Smith; three sisters, Mrs. Flora Green, Mrs.Murlene Mikojlaka and Mrs. Estelle Hollis,
11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services are scheduled for Sunday in the Calvary Baptist Church at Wells with the Rev. Walter Clark, officiating. Interment will be in the Mt. Hope Cemetery.
