Elias was the husband of Anna Maria Beidelman 1715-1795

He was the son of Velten Beutelmann and Anna Clara (Biermann) Beutelmann of Germany

Elias came to America on the ship "Thistle" of Glasgow, with Colin Dunlaap as master, sailing from Rotterdam. He landed in Philadelphia on Aug 29, 1730. He was Naturalized on April 14, 1747.

Elias Beidelman was one of six original elders and trustees of the Springfield Lutheran Church in Pleasant Valley. His initials are on the original cornerstone, dated 1763.
