Eunice - Funeral services Burnis Cooper, 79, were at 10 a..m. Saturday, June 28,from St. Anthony Catholic Church.
Burial was in Mt. Calvary cemetery under the direction of Ardoin Funeral Home. A rosary was said Friday evening.
Mr. Cooper died at 9:52 a.m. Thursday, June 26, 1997, in the ,Opelousas hospital. A resident of Eunice, he was an oilfield mechanic. He was a member of the VFW and American Legion.
Survivors include two sons, Randel Cooper of Lake Charles, Kenneth Cooper of Jackson,four daughters, Mrs. (Connie) Andrus Jr., Mrs. E.B. Feucht Jr., and Sharon, Cooper, all of Eunice, and Wendy Cooper of Bossier City; three brothers,Fred Cooper Bakersville, N.C., Donald Cooper of Walnut Ridge, Ark., and Belvin Cooper of Gladstone, Mo.; four sisters, Elsie Garner of Bates City, Mo. Flora Lee Causbie of Hardy, Ark., Ruby Bradley.of Springdale, Ark., and Bessie Lowe of Marion, Ark.; laine grandchildren; and two greatgrandchildren.
