The Daily Notes, Canonsburg PA, Monday 16 October 1933, page 2 - PIONEER WOMAN DIES AT HOME NEAR BRIDGEVILLE --- Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the Bethany Presbyterian Church, Bridgeville, for MRS. MARGARET J. CALDWELL, a pioneer resident of Upper St. Clair Township, Allegheny County, who died at her home Friday afternoon at the advanced age of 91 years. Interment was in Melrose Cemetery. She was the widow of the late JOHN McMILLAN CALDWELL and the couple celebrated the 58th anniversary of their marriage in February, 1928. She was an ancestor of CHRISTIAN LESNETT, one of the first settlers in South Fayette Township, and has lived at her present home, the old Mission Farm, on the Clifton Road, since her marriage in 1870. She leaves one daughter, MRS. D. M. BENNETT of Bridgeville, one son, WILLIAM C. CALDWELL, at home, and six grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
