son of Henry Adams and Priscilla McKimmey of Loudoun County, VA and Frederick Co., MD.
member of Co. K, 6th VA Calvary, CSA. Was born in Loudoun Co., VA. During the civil war he went to Rockingham Co., VA where he met Frances Jane Dove. They were married in 5 July 1863.
The couple stayed in Rockingham County for a while, moving to Loudoun Co.,VA sometime during the 1870's. Afther all five sons were married and left home, they moved to Clifton, VA. Lived with the oldest son, Charles H. Adams.
Thomas F. Adams died 19 May 1920 in the Robert E. Lee Soldiers Home, Richmond, VA.
wife: Frances Jane "Fannie" Dove was born in Rockingham Co., VA. died 21 September 1910 Clifton, Fairfax Co., VA.
She was the daughter of Nimrod Dove and Dianna Dove. Thomas F. Adams's younger half-brother Stephen Clinton Adams was also a memeber of Co. K, 6th VA Calvary, CSA
