G. van Loon
Pella Chronicle: The death of G. van Loon, living three miles west of Pella, occurred last Thursday morning at 1 o'clock. Mr. van Loon was stricken with paralysis on Monday and death came Thursday to end his suffering. The deceased was 89 years of age. He came to this country in 1849 from Holland and settled on a farm near what is now known as Howell. He removed from there to a farm three miles west of Pella, and has resided there for the last forty years. His wife preceded him to the better world a few years ago. Mr. van Loon was buried Saturday morning in the cemetery near Howell station.
