H.M. LEMONS DIED AT HOME THURSDAY AFTER LONG ILLNESS
H.M. Lemons, age 73, a native of Cooke County, died at his home on North Clement street Thursday morning, following an illness of several months. Funeral services were held at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon. Rev. W. E. Hand, pastor of Grand Avenue Baptist church, officiating. Interment was in New Hope cemetery under the direction of S. W. Gibson.
Mr. Lemons celebrated his golden wedding anniversary some months ago and a few days afterward, he was stricken with paralysis while on a business mission at the local gas office. His condition had been critical since that time.
Surviving are his wife, five sons and two daughters.
