at the Saint Joseph Health Center in Kansas City, MO.

She was the youngest of nine children and the only girl.
She was preceded in death by Matthew Jr., Earl, Edward, Stanley, Merrill, and a set of triplet siblings who died in infancy. Earline received her name in honor of her older brother, Earl who was a veteran of World War I. Her mother, Grace Whitelaw died when she was twelve from complications from the influenza epidemic. After her mother's passing, she was sent to Topeka to be raised by an aunt and graduated from Topeka High School in 1942.

Later, she met and married Leroy Wilson Alexander who also preceded her in death. Earline worked for the Veterans Administration Hospital in the Dialysis unit until her retirement in 1987. After retirement she worked for the Election Board and volunteered her time for various charitable agencies. She was also a member of the AmVets and Casualires Social Clubs. She loved her church and was a faithful member of the Progressive Missionary Baptist Church Reverend William Snodgrass, Pastor. She served as Secretary of the Dorcas Circle and was also on the Deaconess board.

(info from R McCloud; There is only a temporary burial marker. Spouse's names are carved onto the reverse side of the service member's headstone.)
