Khighla LeAnn Parks, 15, of Willard, MO, was welcomed into the arms of God, September 2012. She was born July 19, 1997.

Khighla was a sophomore in High School. Her passions were Jesus, music, and horses, namely her best friend Cheyenne. She was a member of The Willard Young Riders.

She was survived by her mother, Hilary Adams; father and step mom Jeremy and Julie Parks; siblings Kelsi, Marissa, Karli, Jovian, Jaxon and Noah of Kansas; Lynexa, Jalyn, Rylee, and Rowdy of Willard, MO; grandparents Michael and Bonnie Adams, Dick and Pam McMurry, Neil and Sherry Parks, Greg and Bonita Killion, and Rhonda Houser; great-grandparents and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Visitation will be 6-8pm Thursday, October 11, 2012 at Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at White Chapel, 5234 W State Hwy EE (Division). Services will be held at 2pm on Friday, October 12, 2012 at Clear Creek Baptist Church, 7600 W FR 108, Springfield, MO 65802. Interment will follow at Clear Creek Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established and donations can be sent to Klingner-Cope Funeral Home.
