MRS O P BROWN-70: died at the family home on West Eight Street early this morning, after suffering a stroke Friday night. She had been in ill health for some years. She was the wife of O P Brown, a teacher in the Junction City High school for many years, now retired. Mrs Brown was a particulary active member & wor-ker in the Methodist church where she was a member of the Berean class. She was born 26 Sep 1876 in Ellenboro WI, attended schools there & was graduated from the Teachers college at Platteville. Following her graduation, she taught music in her home for several years. She was married to O P Brown on 10 Oct 1900 at Platteville.
Survivors in addition to the husbund include a dau: Miss Naomi Brown-of the home; a son: GeraldG Brown-Wichita & 1 granddau: Geralyn-Wichita.
Funeral arrangements will be announced later. The body was taken to the Johnson Funeral Home.
