Oscar Oswald Brown, 78, of 2225 Beckett St. in Bossier City, died at 2:30 a.m. Friday in Pilgrim Manor Nursing Home of Bossier City after a lengthy illness.
Graveside services will be in Hillcrest Cemetery in Bossier City at 2:30 p.m. today with a military chaplain officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery under the direction of the Bossier City Chapel of Rose-Neath Funeral Home.
Mr. Brown was (from) Manitwoc, Wis., and had lived in Bossier City 20 years. He was a retired military veteran, member of the American Legion and Baptist church.
Survivors include his wife, of Bossier City; one daughter, Mrs. Barbara Jean Raue of Napa, Calif.; three brothers, Harlen Schwenke of Milwaukee, Wis., Reinhart Schwenke of Orfordville, Wis., and William Schwenke of Spring Valley, Calif.; and six grandchildren.
