Anna Marie was born May 12, 1913, in Philadelphia, Penn., to Michael Hill and Anna Monteith. She married Harold A. Beauchat, of Oelwein, Iowa, who preceded her in death on Sept. 17, 1972. Anna Marie was a caring, fun-loving mother/grandmother. She dearly loved her home and family, especially the grandbabies as they came along. Gardening was a favorite hobby, as well as reading, sewing and embroidering. We will remember and miss her Christmas cookies, her tea time lunches, and her beautiful blue eyes lighting up everytime we visited. Memorials can be made to the Alzheimer's Association Mississippi Valley Chapter. She is survived by two daughters, Lourene (Bernard) Schebler, and Shirley (Lee) Taylor, both of Davenport; one son, Rev. William H. (Karen) Beauchat, Greenfield, Ind.; ten grandchildren, Jane Schebler, Davenport, Joseph Schebler, Oxford, Iowa, James Schebler, DeWitt, Iowa, William Taylor, Blue Grass, Iowa, Theodore Taylor, Davenport, Lisa Pearson, Davenport, Bruce Beauchat, Greenfield, Karen Noble, Indianapolis, Ind., Tina Marcum, Fort Wayne, Ind., and Daniel Beauchat, Wilkinson, Ind.; twenty-great grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren, also survive. In Philadelphia, she is survived by two brothers, Jack and Dan Dougherty; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold, her parents, her stepfather, Frank Dougherty, four brothers, and three sisters. The family wishes to express their thanks and appreciation to the wonderful staff on the Arcadia Unit at Manor Care for all the love, support and kindness given to our mother. We would also like to thank Heartland Hospice for being there when we needed them.
