Daniel Hunt, 32, died Feb. 26, 2006 at his home in Taylor.
He was born Jan. 6, 1974 in Show Low and lived most of his life in Taylor. He was a life long member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many different callings. He received his Eagle Scout Award when he was 14 years old and served a full time mission in Sacramento, Calif. He was also awarded with the June Hatch award in the sixth grade for outstanding boy.
He worked for R & L Custom Cabinets, Pipeline Co., and for the Unisource Gas Company. His greatest love was riding horses. He liked to ride down on the "Blue" with his father and grandfather, and he was well known in the roping arena. He loved to go hunting with family and friends.
Daniel is survived by his parents, Milo and Diana Hunt of Taylor; one brother, Brendon of Taylor; five sisters, Wylenn (Dirk) Lee of Lakeside, Anissa (Mike) McCleve of Queen Creek, Mindy Hunt of Show Low, Mandy Hunt of Pinetop, and Briana (J.D.) Finch of Taylor; four nephews and six nieces and his grandparents, Lenard and Venla Hunt.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Helene Hunt and Eldred and Elna Saline.
Daniel was very outgoing and will be missed and loved by all. His family would like to thank all those who have helped and cared about Daniel.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 3 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Taylor Stake Center with a visitation one hour prior at the church and from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, March 2 at Owens Mortuary in Snowflake. Burial will be in the Taylor Cemetery.
