Funeral services for Edith Lucille Birch, 61, of Coos Bay will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Coos Bay Chapel of Campbell-Watkins Funeral Home. Rev. Richard Cochran will officiate. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park. She was born on June 4, 1915 in Springer, New Mexico to Earl Knox and Edna (Orin) Littrell and died on January 29, 1977 at her home. She was employed by Western Bank. She was a member of Oregon Dunes Chapter of American Business Women's Association and First Presbyterian Church of North Bend. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick Charles Birch; her mother; and her brother, Earl Knox Littrell, Jr. Survivors include her father; her sons, Franklin Roy Birch of North Bend, John Birch of San Diego, California, and Frederick Charles Birch, Jr. of Roseburg; her daughter, Barbara Lee Hagenstad of Annapolis, Maryland; her sister, Lois Jane Newhouse of Coos Bay; her brothers, John Elijah Littrell of Eugene, Marion Orin Littrell of Coos Bay, and Robert Thornton Littrell of Alameda, California; and five grandchildren.
