RUSSELLVILLE, ARK. - Services for Atha Aline "Thomas" Elliott, Kelley, 82, of Longview, Texas formerly of Pottsville, Arkansas will be 11 a.m. Monday, November 5, 2007, at Humphrey Chapel.
Burial will be in Brearley Cemetery in Dardanelle, Arkansas. Arrangements are by Humphrey Funeral Service. A memorial service will be held in Longview, Texas at a later date. Mrs. Kelley died October 31, 2007, at her residence.
Born October 14, 1925, in Watts, AR., she was the daughter of William & Floy (Griffin) Thomas. She was a baptist all her life & enjoyed reading her bible daily if not several times a day. She also spend countless hours crafting, quilting & working on puzzles or crosswords.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughters, Sheriee Hill of Fayettville, AR., Rhonda Langston & husband Mark of Longview, TX., sons, Gary Elliott of Luther, OK., and Jerry Elliott of Edmond, OK., granddaughters; Chelsea & Morgan Langston of Longview, TX., Christy Henderson of Liberty City, TX., grandsons; Terry & Chris Hill & Michael Elliott of Harrah, OK., Brent Hill of Fayettville, AR., several great-grandchildren & numerous nieces & nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, a son; Larry Joe Elliott of Oklahoma, a son-in-law; Terry Glenn Hill Sr. of Longview, Texas, a sister; Chilili Mahon of Rover, Arkansas, a brother; Gordon Thomas of Petit Jean Mountain, Arkansas, whom she all loved & missed dearly.
