She married 1st William Winlock Wright in Simpson County, Kentucky. This young couple migrated to Cass County, Missouri sometime before 1837. Her husband aquired large tracts of land and laid off the original town of Pleasant Hill, since known as "Old Town". They were slave owners having several field hands and house servents.
The 1850 census lists her as the head of the family with three children; John, William and Marion.
Twelve years after her husbands death she married 2nd Henry M. Bracken, 23 Dec 1856, Cass Co., MO
Although she was the mother of six, only two of her children reached adulthood.
