Iva Alma Sherman was born November 19, 1896 to Isaac and Mina Sherman at Allen, Nebraska, and died August 4, 1982 at Ainsworth, Nebraska at the age of 85.
When she was a small girl she moved with her parents to a homestead in Tripp County, South Dakota where she grew to womanhood.
She was married to Edward H. Bammerlin on December 23, 1919, and to them five children were born. They lived on a ranch in Keya Paha County from the time of their marriage until 1969 when they retired and moved to Ainsworth.
She is survived by her husband, Edward, Ainsworth; three sons, Gerald, Millboro, South Dakota; Glenn, Salt Lake City, Utah; and Willis, Lewellyn, Nebraska; two daughters, Mrs. Arthur (Emma Jean) Graff, Coulee Dam, Washington and Mrs. Art (Lila Mae) Heerten, Springview, Nebraska; wo sisters, Ada LaHaye, Salem, Oregon and her twin, Mrs. Russell (Ida) Ankeny, Dixon, Nebraska; twelve grandchildren and seven great grandchildren and other relatives.
