She was born Jan. 12, 1883 to her parents Columbus and Suzannah (Ashcraft) Hall.
She married Emerson S. Hardesty on October 26, 1903 in Greene Co., IN. Emerson died June 13, 1955 at age 72.

LOLA HARDESTY OF BICKNELL DIES
BICKNELL - Mrs. Lola Hardesty, 74, of 710 Kixmiller Street, Bicknell died at her home Monday at 1:30 p.m.
She was born in Greene County, Jan. 12, 1883, a daughter of Columbus and Suzanna (Ashcraft) Hall.
She married Emerson Hardesty on Oct. 26, 1903. Her husband died June 13, 1955.
Mrs. Hardesty had lived in Bicknell since 1917. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Zelma Shaffer, Mrs. Ruth Snyder and Mrs. Myrtle Loomis, all of Chicago; 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Miss Josephine Hall of Valparaiso. A son, Raymond, a son, Delvan, a daughter Faye Myers and two infant children preceded her in death.
The body is at the McClure Funeral Home in Bicknell where friends may call. Funeral services will be held from the McClure chapel Wednesday at 2 p.m., Rev. O. D. Jester and Rev. Raymond Rissler officiating. Burial will be in the Bicknell IOOF cemetery.
