Charles (Chuck) Cornwell, 47, a resident of Bicknell since 1968, died unexpectedly at 9:30 a.m. Saturday in Bicknell.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the McClure Funeral Home in Bicknell with the Rev. Jay Nickless officiating. Interment will be in the Bicknell IOOF Cemetery.
Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
He was born Jan. 2, 1940 in Vincennes to Charles and Dovie Justice Cornwell. He married Betty Westfall Nov. 13, 1963 and she survives. He was employed at Prestolite at Vincennes for 20 years and was a local musician having played with several bands in the area. He served in the U.S. Army.
Surviving are his wife and two daughters and two sons, Samantha Cornwell, Bicknell, Joni Baize, Virginia Beach, Va., Max Nickless, Bickness; Jay Nickless, Mexico, Ind., six granchildren, one brother, Larry Cornwell, Houston, Tex., a half brother, Merle Harper, Vincennes, and a half sister, Gwendolyn Walters, Monroe City.
