FLORENCE -Pearleen Green Canady, 78, died at her home on Saturday, Feb. 16, 2013. A funeral service will be Monday, Feb. 18, 2013 at 12:00 in the Mausoleum at Florence Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be prior to the service from 11 to 12:00 noon at the Mausoleum.
Pearleen was born in Florence County, the daughter of the late Charlie Johnson and Olive Stricklen Green. She worked as an Inspector at Oxford Drapery Mill until retirement. She was married to the late Andrew L. Canady.
Survivors are three sons, Jerry (Gloria) Coker, Phil (Hilda) Coker all of Florence, Andrew L. (Kassie) Canady II, Timmonsville; two daughters, Joyce (Ronnie) Weaver, Effing-ham, Frances Windham, Florence; one brother, Lonnie (Betty) Green, three sisters, Ann (Rudy) Springs, Learleen (Willard) Gainey, Sylvia (William) McMillan; nine grand-children and seven great grandchildren and a special brother-in-law Joe Griffith.
She is preceded in death by a son Elwin D. Coker, daughter, Renee Floyd, two brothers, Ernest and Carl, sisters, Janie Mae, Lucy, Eloise and Elsie and two grandchildren.
