Louis J. Arno Funeral Held In Oneida
Norfolk - Many friends and relatives attended funeral services for Louis J. Arno, 43, of 348
Stone St., Oneida, Wednesday.
Services were at 9 'clock at the Cambell-Dean Funeral Home and at 9:30 at St. Patrick's Church, with the Rev. Thomas H. Quinn, pastor celebrating a Requiem High Mass. Burial was in St. Leo's Cemetery in Tully.
Mr. Arno had been in failing health for the past five years, suffering from a blood ailment. He died in St. Elizabeth's Hospital, Utica, on Sunday Nov. 28, 1954. He had been seriously ill seven weeks.
He was born in Norfolk, May 20, 1911, the son of Joseph Arno, Norfolk, and the late Margaret Burcume Arno. He was employed as a machinist at the Carrier Corporation in Syracuse, and was, a communicant of St. Patrick's Church in Oneida.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Rena Bartholomew Arno; two sons, Louis J. Arno, Jr. and Kevin S., both at home; his father, Joseph Arno, and one brother, Albert Arno, both, of Norfolk; five sisters, Mrs. Sally Tissit, Trenton, N.J., Mrs. Agnes Payment, Tupper Lake, Mrs. Myrtle Harvey and Mrs. Gladys Page, both of Massena, and Mrs. Renee Francia, Fayetteville, N.C.
