Mrs. Jessie Butterfiled

Mrs. Jessie Butterfield, formerly of Lincoln Center, died Wednesday Nov. 1 in the west.

The following is from the Forsyth Times Journal.

Mrs. Jessie Butterfield wife of Harry Butterfield, county clerk and recorder of Rosebud County, quietly passed away at their home Wednesday morning at 1 o'clock following a lingering illness of nearly two years.

Mrs. Butterfield is a native of Lincoln Center, Maine and with her husband came to Rosebud County twenty years ago from Boston.

They first made their home at Rosebud, but moved to Forsyth 16 years ago when Mr. Butler was elected county treasurer.
Since then they have made their home here.

The deceased was one of the best known and most highly esteemed women of this city.

She was an active and earnest worker in the Eastern Star and Rebekah Lodges until her illness made it impossible to continue work.
