John Buckley, 80, Mandan Native Dies in Wyoming

Word was receive here Monday morning of the death of Mr. John Buckley of Worland, WY.
A brother of Phil and Jim Buckley of Mandan.

Mr. Buckley, was 80, was the eldest of 11 children.

His death occurred Monday morning.

He had been in failing health for about two years.

Funeral services to be held in Forsyth, MT., are pending.

A native of Mandan, he was the eldest son of early pioneer residents, Mr. and Mrs. John Buckley.

He was reared here.

He was married at Flasher.

The family lived at Flasher for some time before moving to Montana before World War I.

They lived there at Hysham , near Forsyth, where he was employed on the railroad.

They were the parents of 14 children some of whom are deceased.

He had been making his home recently with a son-in-law and daughter at Worland.

He leaves three brothers Tom of Miles City, MT., Phil and Jim of Mandan, N.D., two sisters died in recent years, including Mrs. John Andrews.
