Civil War: Company K, 7th California Infantry

William Arthur Bull was the son of Arthur Bull and his second wife, Virginia Roundtree. During the Civil War he enlisted as a private at Downieville, California, November 3, 1864, and was mustered into Company K, 7th California Infantry, November 19. Private Bull was posted to Arizona Territory. He returned to California with his company and was mustered out at the Presidio of San Francisco, April 26, 1866. William married Charlotte Cordelia Kempton at Cassia, Idaho, on January 21, 1881. William filed for a Civil War veteran's disability pension in Idaho May 18, 1883, and received application No. 483,773 and certificate No. 465,870. Charlotte filed for a Civil War widow's pension May 20, 1904, and received application No. 806,742 and certificate No. 592,733. A pension for minor children was filed January 5, 1906, and received application No. 840,905 and certificate No. 670,127.
