Mrs. Salome Irwin, widow of the late Isaac Irwin, died at the home of her son David Irwin near Spiketown Wednesday from the effects of a stroke of paralysis after an illness of about two years duration. Mrs. Irwin was eighty-one years old and had been a resident of Clark county for nearly seventy-five years. She was a native of Vermont.
She was the mother of four sons, David, Clark, Rice and Edward and one daughter, long since deceased. The funeral was preached by Rev. Harry Reese at her late home yesterday morning. Burial in Marshall cemetery.
