MRS. ANNA CLEMENTS CORNWELL
Former Resident of Lowville, and Wife of D. L. Cornwell, Watertown,
Dies at Daytona Beach, Fla.
Mrs. Anna Clements Cornwell, wife of Demetrius L. Cornwell, Watertown, and sister of Mrs. Harriet L. Oatman, Lowville, died at 6 a. m., Friday, at Daytona Beach, Fla., death being due to heart disease. Mr. and Mrs. Cornwell, accompanied by their daughter, Miss Alma H. Cornwell, left Watertown by motor last October. They had been spending the winter in Daytona Beach, Fla.
Mrs. Cornwell was aged about 76 years and spent her early life in Lowville. Since her marriage to Mr. Cornwell, many years ago, they have resided in Watertown. Mr. Cornwell is a veteran of the Civil war and past commander of Joe Spratt Post G. A. R. Before their departure last fall Mr. and Mrs. Cornwell were the guests of honor at a farewell party given by the local patriotic organizations.
