Prokesh-Bohna, Cozette 'Cozy' Arleen 77 01/17/1932 03/14/2009 Our loving mother passed away peacefully at the age of 77. Born Jan. 17, 1932, to Joseph and Edna Prokesh in Wolback, Neb., she was the eldest of four sisters. She moved to Boise, with her family at the age of 9, and graduated from Boise High School in 1949. Cozette worked as a telephone operator for two years until she married Charles O. Bohna Jr. on April 23, 1950. They moved to Portland in 1953, where Charles found work as a machine shop supervisor for Columbia Steel Casting. They settled and spent their married life in the Portland area. Cozette and her husband were married 30 years until his death in 1980. They lived their lives as a Christian example to their family and friends and as loyal members of the Cedar Hills Christian Church. Cozette later joined the Tualatin Valley Community Church where she was active until her death. Cozette enjoyed bowling, fishing, boating, camping and organized many bridge tournaments for charities. She loved to travel and has been to Niagara Falls, Hong Kong, China, the Grand Canyon, Canada, and Hawaii. She took a cruise through the Panama Canal and cruised the Nile River in Egypt. She also enjoyed several motor home excursions throughout the United States. Cozette was a member of the Disabled Veterans Auxiliary and did volunteer work at the Veterans Hospital. Tupperware and Avon were a big hit in her home. She sold those products with great success throughout the '70s. She retired in 1991 from the Beaverton School District after 15 years of working in the food service industry. Cozette was most proud of her four children - sons, Wendell, Kendall and Tom Bohna; and daughter, Katherine Moore. She enjoyed spending time with her 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Cozette brought unmeasured joy to countless lives. Her generosity and great sense of humor and spirit of kindness were limitless. Her radiant smile and her warmth of love were her defining characteristics. Cherished by her family and friends, Cozette's legacy is eternal. She is not gone. She is in our hearts forever. May she rest in peace. There will be open viewing from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday, March 19, 2009. The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, March 20, 2009, at Skyline Memorial Gardens Chapel, 4101 N.W. Skyline Blvd., Portland, OR 97229. A reception will follow the service at 4 p.m. at The Seminol Estates Club House, 100 S.W. 195th Ave., Beaverton, OR 97006. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to The Tualatin Valley Community Church, 511 S.W. 211th Ave., Beaverton, OR 97006.

Cozy, I can still hear your laugh and will carry all the great memories I have from knowing you and your family. I wish I had know you had gone home to be with the Lord, but I will see you again one day. Love you.
