Hazel K. Campbell McCoy, 81, of El Dorado Springs, died Monday, Sept. 11, 1995, at the Sac Osage Hospital in Osceola.
Mrs. McCoy was born April 19, 1914, in Richmond, to Jacob and Emma (Wells) Phillips. She married Jake Campbell on Nov. 21, 1931, in Lawrence, Kan.; he preceded her in death on June 25, 1976. On May 27, 1980, she married Earl McCoy; he preceded her in death on July 15, 1995. Mrs. McCoy lived most of her life in Ray County, moving to El Dorado Springs in 1978. She was a seamstress.
Survivors include her son, Bill Campbell, of Fullerton, Calif.; a brother, David Phillips of Joplin; two sisters, Jo Thurber of Omaha, Neb., and Fran Weatherly of Missouri Valley, Iowa; six grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren; and other relatives.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 14, at the Hackman and Sons Funeral Home in Eldorado Springs with the Rev. Wayne McCullough officiating. Burial will be at 3 p.m. at Richmond Memory Gardens.
