Jesse Lee Finch, 56 years, 5 days and 15 days old resident of City Heights, died at a Fort Smith, Arkansas hospital about 8 p.m. Thursday, March 2, 1950.
Finch was injured last Wednesday afternoon when his automobile struck a bridge abutment and overturned into a ditch on highway 64, near Altus. He was alone at the time of the accident.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth Finch; two daughters, Mrs. Marie Bradley, Hickman, KY, and Evelyn of the home; four sons, Leonard, Canton, KY, and J.C., Bobby and Marvin, all of the home; one sister, Mrs. Alice Dillon of Oklahoma; and two grandchildren.
Funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Ocker Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Doyle Dipboye and Rev. W. M. Bouw officiating. Burial was in Gill cemetery.
He was a member of Van Buren Oddfellows lodge. The oddfellows had charge of the graveside services.
