Regis T. "Tom" Bell, 67, Box 623, Lot 79, Altoona RD 2, died Monday evening at his home after a battle with cancer.

He was born in Altoona, son of the late Bernard F. and Letitia J. (Schenkle) Bell. He married Marcia L. Smith Oct. 22, 1977, in Altoona.

Surviving are his wife; three daughters: Jennifer S. Irvin and husband, David, of Chambersburg, Amy K. Lowey and husband, Hershel, of Altoona and Marsha J. Lockard and husband, David, of Altoona; 10 grandchildren: Emily, Hannah, Sarah, Jacob, Nathan and Rebekah Irvin, Hershel and Tori Lowey and Allison and Taylor Lockard; two brothers: Eugene and Bernard Bell; his first wife, Judith Harrison; and his cat, Bud.

Mr. Bell was a member of Faith Baptist Church.

He retired from PPG Industries.

He was a 1960 graduate of Scotland School for Veterans Children, Chambersburg, Pa.

He enjoyed fishing, shooting and being with his grandchildren.

Friends will be received from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 2, 2008, at The Good Funeral Home Inc. at Alto Reste Park Cemetery (www.thegoodfuneralhomeinc.com). A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 3, 2008, at the funeral home by the Rev. Gary G. Dull. Interment at Alto Reste Park Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, Blair Unit, 1004 N. Juniata St., Hollidaysburg, PA 16648.
