Franklin was born to Charles & Catherine Siegler Booth on June 16, 1833. He was 1 of 12 children.
As he grew up he became a shoemaker apprentice to his father Charles.
The family lived in Luzerne County, Pennsylvania.
Franklin meet Rebecca Gechten and on September 19, 1863 they were married by Rev. Augustus L. Herman at the Zion Church in Berks County, Pennsylvania.
They were blessed with three sons; John Harrison, Abraham Lincoln & Isaac Barton.
On 21 Sept 1869 Franklin Buried his youngest son Isaac Barton and then 5 days later 26 Sept 1869 buried his wife Rebecca, ten months later 9 July 1870 his oldest son John Harrison also was buried. They are all three buried in the Spies Zion Cemetary along side Rebecca's parents. Franklin never remarried.
Franklin and Abraham went to live with Franks parents for some time. As time passed they both left Luzerne, Pennsylvania and lived the rest of their lives in Shattuck, Oklahoma.
Franklin is buried in the Shattuck Cemetery.
