His first wife Martha M. Barrett Bliss has a memorial stone in Park Cemetery in the Bliss family lot that can be viewed by Clicking Here.
She is buried in Evergreen Cemetery in Cazenovia, NY in the Barrett family lot there and is linked to him below.
C. N. Wetherell purchased the plumbing and heating business of D. J. Bliss, on Main Street, north of the square, and for some years conducted the business in the same building with Mr. Bliss' pump and windmill business, which Mr. Bliss had retained. Mr. Bliss is an uncle of Gerald Bliss, who now is in the pump and windmill business here.
The Wetherell and D. J. Bliss establishments were in a frame building on what now is a vacant lot just south of the H. E. Williams Products Company factory.
