MRS. A. C. BONEY
Merkel, Feb. 4 – Mrs. A. C. Boney, 77, former resident of Merkel for 32 years and sister of W. O. Boney here, died about 10 o'clock this morning in Temple at the home of a daughter, Mrs. D. S. Whitlow.
Mrs. Boney came to Merkel with her husband and family in 1905 from Temple. He was for many years owner and operator of a drug store here. He died January 21, 1922.
Survivors are four children, Mrs. Whitlow, W. O. Boney of Merkel, J. M. of Rosebud, Tex., and M. M. Boney of Taylorsville, Calif. Five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren also survive.
Funeral for Mrs. Boney will be Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the Methodist church here with the Rev. John H. Crow, pastor, and the Rev. Jones Weathers, Baptist minister, officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill cemetery beside the grave of her husband.
