She was born to Marshall & Rosa (Wade)"Collins" Adams. When she was a small child her father was killed in a tractor accident, which she witnessed. It is said she quit talking and did not talk again for a long time and was very limited mentally thereafter. She was a sweet person and as an adult was playful and childish.

Miss Adams died 11:35 p.m., Sunday, May 9, 2010 at Brooke Haven Health Care. She was born June 15, 1931 at Perry, Oklahoma to Marshal F. Adams, Sr. and Rosa B. Wade Adams. Miss Adams was a member of the Family Life Church of Dora, Missouri.

Naomi made her home with her brother, then in later years, moved to Newton’s Residential Care and then to Brooke Haven Health Care in West Plains where she lived until her death. The family wishes to thank the staff at Brooke Haven Health Care for their care of Naomi for the past several years.

She is survived by two brothers, Johnie Adams, wife, Darlene, West Plains, Missouri and Marshal Adams, Jr., wife, Sue, Groveland, Illinois; and several nieces and nephews.

Her parents and one brother, Garel K. Adams, precede her in death.
