Funeral services for Mrs. Aaron Cone, 66, who died Sunday, January 4, in the Bulloch County Hospital after a short illness, were held at 4 p,m, Tuesday at the Statesboro First Methodist Church, conducted by the Rev. Dan H. Williams and Rev. Lawrence Houston. Burial was in Eastside Cemetery.
Surviving are four sons, S. Sgt. James A. of Portland , Ore., John W. of Athens, William G. of Hinesville, and Henry E. of Statesboro and Mrs. John H. Gee of Miami, Fl.
Pallbearers were Billy Cone, Edward Cone, Gilbert Cone, Jr., Parham Gardner, Roger Gardner and J. A. Gardner.
The body remained at the Smith-Tillman Mortuary until the time for services.
