Cyril Iffert, 79 of Morgan died Tuesday, March 2, 1999 at the Sleepy Eye Hospital.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Morgan with burial in hte church cemetery.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. with a 7 p.m. parish rosary, athe the Nelson Funeral Home in Morgan and 8-10:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
He is survived by brothers and sisters-in-law Hubert Iffert, Joe and Helen Iffert all of Morgan, Sy C. and Karen Iffert of Seattle, Wash., sisters and brother-in-law Frieda Wolfe, Mary Rider Anderson both of Minneapolis, Cleo Zeug of Redwood Falls, Odelia Eckhart, Therese and Clayton Anderson all of Willmar; niecesand nephews.
he was preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters.
He was born Sept. 26, 1919 in Leavenworth Township, Brown county to Joseph and Cleopha (Schulte) Iffert. He grew up on family farms in around Sleepy Eye, Morgan and Dehli, and attended St. Michaels's elementary adn Morgan High school, graduation in 1939. He farmed untilhte 1960s when he moved to Minneapolis to work as a custodian for the Metropolitan Medical Center. He had resided at the Gil-Mor Manor Nursing Home in Morgan. Cyril was a twin. Twin's name was Sylvester Conrad Iffert (19 Sep 1919 to 20 May 2020
