THE PARIS NEWS, Thu., Jan. 13, 1994, p. 12A: 'Bogata - Doshie Elizabeth Jones, 70, of Johntown died Wednesday, Jan. 12, at her home. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Jan. 15, in Life Tabernacle Church in Cunningham with the Rev. Ricky Russell and the Rev. Duane Stewart officiating. Burial will be in Woodard Cemetery by Wood Funeral Home of Bogata. The family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Mrs. Jones was born July 31, 1923, in Taylortown, a daughter of J. A. and Margariet Kerr Cannon. She married Elzie Jewel Jones Feb. 24, 1938. He died Dec. 14, 1991. Surviving are four daughters, Bertha Barber and Linda Behan, both of Paris, Patrica Jones and Mary Roesler, both of Johntown; one son, James Cannon of Paris; three brothers, James Cannon of Cunningham, and John and Bill Cannon, both of Paris; her mother, Margariet Cannon of Deport; three sisters, Myrtle Smith of Avery, Gladys Pool and Lois Hensley, both of Deport; 14 grandchildren and seven great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two infant daughters.' WOOD FUNERAL HOME Book 9 page 124: born in Taylor Town TX, child of J.
