Neal was married to Irene for over 60 years and was the father of 6 children with her (see her bio). He was a dairy farmer, a rancher, an accountant, a 33rd Degree Mason, as well as the Mayor of El Centro in the 1950's. He loved deep sea fishing as well as fishing for salmon in the rivers of northern California. He and Irene competed in bridge tournaments and also played for fun with family and friends. The two of them traveled all over the world - and his favorite spot of all was Alaska. After Irene died, he married the widowed Annie Lee Henslee and he died just short of their 15th anniversary.
