LINCOLN --- Minnie Beaver, 85, Lincoln, died at noon Friday at Springfield Manor nursing home, Springfield.
Her funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Holland and Barry Funeral Home, the Rev. Joseph Hedges officiating. Burial will be in Mount Pulaski Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
She was born Feb. 25, 1892, at Mount Pulaski, the daughter of Hugh and Sarah Courtwright Stiles. She married Melvin Beaver. He died in 1971.
Surviving are a son, Ralph Stiles, Lincoln; a sister, Katherine Moran, Decatur; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
