ARNOLD, Clifford Austin, 85, of Manchester, died April 23, 1995 after an extended illness at his home. A native of Manchester, he was the son of the late Jim and Ollie Wiser Arnold. He was a retired Supervisor Administrative Aide of the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers, Savannah, Georgia, a former Circuit Court Clerk of Manchester and of the Baptist Faith. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nannie Olene Martin Arnold. He is survived by three sons, Donald N. Arnold, Manchester, Larry A. Arnold, Nanuel, N. Y., and Frank W. Arnold, Albany, Georgia; two daughters, Fay A. Winn, Manchester and Janice A. Freeman, Hartwell, Georgia, eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held April 26, 1995 at Manchester Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. hulon Bryant and Bro. Benny Benjamin officiating. Burial was at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens, Coffee County. Manchester Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
