George was the son of George Edward Linden and Grace Walden. George joined the Marines in November 1951. He was discharged February 22, 1958. He served 18 months in the Korea and Japan area. He worked for Georgia-Pacific from June 1958 until his retirement. He was a caustic operator at a Pulp Mill in Toledo, Oregon. He married Nancy Robertson September 25, 1973. He had four children. He had a 43 acre farm at Siletz, Oregon and has raised registered milking shorthorn cattle. Ed loved his family and his home.
