|Birth: ||Dec. 8, 1856|
St. Clair County
|Death: ||Apr. 25, 1939|
Wife of Allen S. Angevine Jr.
Daughter of John Frank Perio and Mary (St. John) Perio. The 1870 census shows her age 12 and her father's name as Frank, both parents born in Illinois.
Frank Perio was a private in Company E, 31st Regiment, Illinois Infantry of the Union Army during the Civil War.
Julia's death certificate gives her birth as Dec. 8, 1855, her father's name as John, and birthplace of both parents as France. Their father was Frank, and both parents born in Illinois according to censuses and her brother Albert's death certificate.
Louis Perio dit Verdibencauer (or dit Vadeboncoeur) was a "bachelor keeping house" at Prairie du Pont, St. Clair County of the Territory North West of Ohio River (Illinois), on 10 Feb 1791. He was probably a French soldier and perhaps married later. Battice Perio who lived in St. Clair County in 1840 may have been a son or grandson of Louis Perio dit Verdibencauer.
Julia Angevine was visiting her daughter on South Mulkey in Christopher, Illinois, when she broke her leg on April 3, 1939. She went steadily downhill and died there April 25th.
She was the mother of two sons and five daughters.
