Flanagan, Vivian (Age 71 - 18 Dec 2006) Russell Register
Vivian Flanagan, age 71 of Russell Springs, passed away Sunday, December
18, 2006 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset. She was the
daughter of the late John Mason and Meckley Wilson Flanagan.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Glenn and Orlis Flanagan,
and one sister, Emily Laverne Johnson.
She was retired from the Russell County School System after nearly 30 years
of services; she was a Mother's Against Drunk Drivers Officer in Russell
County for 13 years, and a member of the Order of Eastern Star.
She is survived by two nieces, Jerry York, Owensboro, and Kimberly Johnson,
Russell Springs; two nephews, Gary Flanagan, Largo, FL and Benny Johnson,
Delmont, PA; a sister-in-law, Beatrice Flanagan, Louisville, and a
brother-in-law, Garva Johnson, Johnson, Russell Springs.
Funeral Services were held Wednesday, December 20, 2006 at the Square Oak
Separate Baptist Church, with Bro. Barry Lawson officiating.
Pallbearers were: Benny Johnson, Garva Johnson, Rodney Johnson, Dickie
York, Dale Holder, and Gary Flanagan.
Interment was at the Square Oak Cemetery.
