Mr. J.M. (Mace) Flanagan of Fonthill died Thursday, September 28, in Kentucky Baptist Hospital, Louisville. He had been ill for some time, and the end, while not unexpected, yet was a shock to his family and his many friends. He was 69 years of age.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Meckley (Wilson) Flanagan, a son, Orlis Flanagan of Louisville, and two daughters, Emily and Vivian Flanagan, both of Fonthill. He also leaves a brother, L.D. Flanagan of Russell Springs, as well as a number of other relatives and a great host of friends.

Funeral services were held Saturday morning, Septemer 30, in the Lakeview Baptist Church with Rev. S.B. Rowe and Rev. Robert Richardson officiating. Burial was in the Square Oak Cemetery.

Ripptoe Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Those we love remain with us for love itself lives on. Cherished memories will never fade, because one loved is gone. Those we love can never be, more than a thought apart, for as long as there is a memory, they live with in our heart.
