Hampton Harmon Cosper
Birth: May 11, 1818
Death: Dec. 2, 1903

Hampton Harmon Cosper migrated to Collin Co., Texas in 1854 by wagon. He served in Captain John R. Brisco's Company, 16th Regiment, Texas Calvary. during the Civil War.

Hampton Harmon was a son of George Henry Cosper and Martha Elizabeth Knapp Cosper. He and his first wife, Eliza Carolina Smith Cosper, moved to Texas from Randolph Co., Alabama circa 1854. They had fifteen children during their marriage. After Eliza's death, he married a young widow, Anna Pandora "Dora" Trammel Worley, who had one child from her prior marriage. They had five children during their marriage.
